Event Description

Free-flowing transport is a major challenge to create, but nonetheless foundational for a liveable city. That is why more and more cities have looked to Denmark for inspiration. In this seminar, we look at the interface between different modes of transport and the infrastructure and masterplans that supports this, and also how future cities can improve traffic safety, and create healthy, people-friendly environments that can reduce congestion, pollution and carbon emission as well as help cities cope with growing populations and workforces

The conference is organised by The Royal Danish Embassy in partnership with West Midlands Combined Authority, Birmingham City Council and Ramboll and is supported by RIBA.
