Cycling in and around Birmingham England
The 215km Kidderminster Killer is an audacious audax to mid-Wales and back via the Stretton Hills.
From Clee to Heaven is a 120km circuit around the sides of the Clee Hills. Both events require a good level of fitness.
The Kidderminster Killer a killer of a route to ride. It is a lumpy ride and rated as one of the toughest 200km audaxes in Britain and the toughest in the Midlands with 3,750m of ascent. Challenge yourself by riding the many hills including Wenlock Edge, Ragleth Hill,The Long Mynd, Stiperstones, Kerry Ridgeway, Fiddlers Elbow, Mortimers Forest and Clee hills.
From Clee to Heaven is shorter than the Kidderminster Killer but it packs in a greater punch per kilometre with 2,000m of ascent. Don't let that put you off. This route will provide a fantastic summer's day to remember.
The route is a figure of 8, leaving via Stourport, around the Clee Hills and then back via Wolverley. The event stops twice at Rays Farm where great food can be bought. Free food provided for returning riders at Belbroughton.
