Cycling in and around Birmingham England
Pompey BUG is calling for the government to allocate the same per head level of funding to cycling infrastructure as the Netherlands does - roughly £25 per person, or the cost of a cycle helmet for everyone.
An interesting blog article, and definitely a worthy petition to support.

Have a look.
The warning sign that is entitled "Cycle route ahead", used to be "Beware of Cyclists". ???
When it was "Beware of Cyclists", it wasn't used enough by half.
Now it is demoted to a sign which tells motorists cyclists have been indirectly advised to get off the main carriageway.
Now where is the sign which advises motorists to beware of cyclists?
