Cycling in and around Birmingham England

I need to cycle into town tomorrow  asI've got a course near St Philips cathedral. So I need to leave my Bianchi locked up all day. Anybody got any thoughts about which is the most secure cycle stand?

Top of Temple Street? That's where I leave mine when I'm in town.

CCTV probably puts of some thieves but a decent D lock or two is essential everywhere. My daughter is working in Newhall Street today and has parked to the right of the council house.

There was consultation on new stands around the Colmore Business District last year which were/are supposed to he installed in June sometime. They hadn't been when i checked a couple of weeks ago. I have no idea why an installation job that takes a few hours actually takes the best part of a year to actually happen, I assume either petty bureaucracy or gross incompetence.

Thanks for the responses - I've still got my bike ;-)
