The Birmingham Bike Foundry is always on the lookout for bikes, but you'll have to drop it off yourself.

Harborne Blind School would be glad to have it as well, I don't know if they collect though.

Alternatively, why not put it on ebay as a charity listing?  Then you can donate the money to a charity of your choice.

Oh, and you could always donate it to a druggie so they can go to a rehabilitation meeting miles further away than they need to.

Thanks CKS,

Some very good ideas you have given me

I tried to give a bike to charity. No-one at charities seems to want a whole bike.

I ended up selling it and sending the money to charity.

I know James,

It has quite amazed me how hard it is to give a bike away, state of our nation i think
