Now likely to reopen at the end of May.

Due to open next weekend?

A team of extra workers were bought from another job in Halifax to start today and work 7 days a week to try and get it finished ASAP.  Friday the 25th hopefully.

Cycled along the path today - didn’t realise that there is work also going on at the Bridge near Rush/Tumble Jungle.

Signs say that will be completed by end June and the tunnel says 25th May

Thanks.

Hi all

Is it open now?  I thought people were planning a party or something to celebrate, if so it was an awfully quiet party?

Any updates?

It was still closed late yesterday evening.

After the heavy rain yesterday the metal plates were found to be slippy. They are applying an anti-skid solution today so it may open tonight or tomorrow. There is still some work to finish off which can be done after it is open.

thanks for update LS..but who is responsible for keeping the public informed about these postponements..ive cycled there this afternoon and barrier is up but no written notice..!

Nobody apparently. Website still 25th open at 5pm.

It's better that it rained hard on Friday and was found to be slippy while contractors were still on site. If it had opened there might be accidents.
