Video shows the incident at Darmouth Circus which shows me getting hit and then another car nearly going into a digger, unbelievable. I did not stop as was in some shock and as video shows hoping to get his reg from the camera but quality not good enough grrrr

This happens after yesterday's horrific event as well, this 'circus's are killers

Glad you're ok. It looks like the driver pulled over but you carried on ?

yep I was a bit shook up TBH and hoped to get his reg off the camera but the quality not good enough just rung up 111 and need the reg though.

There's no way of knowing if they stopped to apologise and check if were ok or if they wanted to beat you up for being on the road and not paying road tax.

I've been stopped at a red light in the middle of the lane with a massive fluorescent Deliveroo bag on my back and a big flashy light and had a driver slow roll into the back of me. Nothing shocks me anymore. I'm guessing the driver was either on the phone or wasn't expecting a Deliveroo rider to stop on red.

thats it, I think he was trying to apologise TBF but I was so angry you have to ride off the anger !

I got carried away on somebody's bonnet at that island.

It was a bit like this incident, somebody trying to squeeze past and catching me with the wing mirrors. As it was rush hour and being a bit of an awkward git, I got in front of him (off the bike) and refused to move. All I was after was an apology, but the driver wasn't having any of that and drove in to me as the lights changed. Like I said, being an awkward git, I "fell" onto his bonnet and was carried off up the road. Seeing this, I gather a few people must have called the police, given how many turned up on blue lights. Even though I wasn't interested in perusing the matter, the attitude of the police did annoy me a little. They seemed more interested in telling me how little could be done, given the lack of damage (to me, or the bike), than recording details of what had happened.

Out of interest, what camera was this recorded on? Been looking for a front facing camera for a while, but I can't find one that ticks enough boxes.

Looks like a Fly 12 being a Cycliq.

yep a Fly12 and pretty happy with it but helmet cams do give a better field of vision ... but more awkward esp on road bikes
