Birmingham Cyclist

Cycling in and around Birmingham England

I've had another communique from the council, this time about the National Clean Air Action Day (which looks suspiciously like a National Clean Air Inaction Day).   I've already published the details on the Push Bikes website.

Of course all of us on this forum using a bike for transport are already doing way more to address air pollution than is UK government.   Alas telling people to leave the car behind wont have any effect on the majority of the population, for whom the infrastructure encourages driving, and discourages walking, cycling, or using public transport.

I notice that it is the prestigious Ashden Awards down in That London tomorrow: environmental transport......I wonder who will win it and could BCC learn anything from them?
