Cycling in and around Birmingham England

In the end I used elastic bands to strap the camera as rigidly as possible to my bike; to a handlebar lamp mount (the lamp went swimming in the canal last year), and to an old-skool lamp bracket that mounts on an axle. This proved to be better than an elastic mount. In the resulting video you can also see a late Christmas present. What do aunties and uncles always give as presents at Christmas? Socks of course, but my family being outdoor types these aren't ghastly I-wouldn't-be-seen-dead-in-those socks, but Smartwool Outdoor socks. And very nice they are too. There are also Smartwool Cycling socks, but I don't pretend to know what advantages they offer cyclists over the Outdoor variety.
Rode to a supermarket in Small Heath to get some double cream, cus the pot I got from Tesco was rank!!
