Cycling in and around Birmingham England

Today my bike took me......

Through Manor Park and down to Bournville on to the Worcester canal and up the Rea Valley route back to Northfeild. It was lovely out there and Gus was running along side me all the way.

Where did your bike take you today.......?

From Lichfield, Shenstone, Wall, Four Oaks estate, Sutton Park, Boldmere, Erdington, Gravelly Hill, Aston, Digbeth - to work :(

House hunting On a bike around Sutton Coldfield . Big ride tomorrow in Tour of the Peak on a bike fixed by On Your Bike. Sunshine set for next week too !

From On Your Bike (digbeth) to Solihull, then the airport and back home.  It's quite windy innit.

Testing the new bike :)

I managed a canal towpath ride from Brandwood to the wharf at Hockley Heath and back. Given my poor fitness levels I'm really pleased how it went :)  Loads of cyclists out today, really enjoyed my ride

Nowhere today but tomorrow the Wheel Heroes 100k from Stratford-upon-Avon race course.

Stuck indoors all day (like every other day this week), but managed a little 16 mile ride from Little Aston, Stonnal, Shenstone, past the TV masts and home again.  Which has become my regular ride, having done it 6 times this week.  And it's a big improvement on dodging the dog walkers in Sutton Park.

Birmingham to Worcester.

haddon loop near peterborough. tomorrow i'll be investigating a section of the green wheel.

From Yardley Wood to Longbridge for a course on Apple Apps Development and then from Longbridge to Barnt Green for a BBQ. I put the bike in the car to take my family home as my wife had had a drink.

Been using public transport today, but should be out for an as-yet-undecided pootle with my partner tomorrow afternoon.  Thought about joining the Pushbikes ride, but that bit of towpath's a bit too singletrack for her trike.

Mine took me on Go Sky Rides' Cannon Hill Extreme. 30 miles, lots of other riders and some nice scenery...

Cannon Hill Extreme

Sunday 27th.

Solihull - Henley in Arden - Knowle to 'warm up'.

16 mile TT.

Home.

45 miles total.
