I had just locked up my bike outside the central library yesterday afternoon when I heard someone shout out "Hey, Dawes!" (well it could have been "Hey, doors!", but that would have been a bit weird). It turned out to be someone who had the exact same frame as mine, right down to the original paintwork. What's particularly remarkable is that the frame is about 35 years old. I have had my frame for most of those years. Despite being made just down the road in Tyseley, this is the first time I've seen the exact same frame.
