So coming home last night cycling down Hurst Street, which is the safest bike route in Birmingham, normally takes me 15 minutes to get home. Come down to find out this dumb parade set up & Birmingham Council thought it was completely fine to block the bike lane, and let cyclist find alternative routes that are very dangerous, and long! No signs to alert cyclist route was closed, and many people cycling were very confused on which way to go.
