"The photo was this week cycling back. I could not enter the Right Turn Lane because it was over-crowded thanks to diverting traffic. This should be a safe cycle route, and it no longer is thanks to the road closure. "

"If it's closed for testing traffic why not suggest that a safe cycle lane through it is included?  Permanent closure to motor vehicles may be a good thing."

Pride Parade & Birmingham Council don't care about cyclists??

So coming home last night cycling down Hurst Street, which is the safest bike route in Birmingham, normally takes me 15 minutes to get home. Come down to find out this dumb parade set up & Birmingham Council thought it was completely fine to block the bike lane, and let cyclist find alternative routes that are very dangerous, and long! No signs to alert cyclist route was closed, and many people cycling were very confused on which way to go.
