That book was the best 50p ever spent! Absolute fits of laughter. Funny thing is, it was all very serious advice... in the 70's. I just felt sorry for the guy who had to give me change from a £20 note!!

Hi Amanda,

Thanks for the comment, I'll continue the hunt for my first road bike. Probably looking for something 2nd hand to take out into Worcestershire at the weekends.
