"if you come off at Sutton and take the road to Kingstanding about 5 mins from the Odeon at the end of the parade you are welcome to park your car in our office car park open 7 til 7 and very secure. Let me know if needed and I will give you details."

"traffic volume doesn't usually make much difference on this route. I'm guessing that it takes around 50mins (although I actually go on to Edgbaston so have never timed the individual parts of the ride). Alas, that timing is a sign of age…"

Cycling from Sutton Coldfield to Cannon Hill Park

As the fine British Summer is once again (almost) upon us, my thoughts turn (again) to ditching the car and cycling into work. While commuting Burton to Birmingham and back is out (takes a bit to long) I am considering ditching the car somewhere secure in Sutton Coldfield and cycling in from there. Any ideas what the routes or conditions are like?
