I guess you could say I am not much if a cyclist I spent last spring and summer cycling my salcano assos and broke it. so i have just brought a specialized carve pro so if ya see an old git wobbling on the canals and Rea valley route around kings norton it will more than likely be me lol.

Germany & Holland

Just spent 5 days in Holland and Germany where the car is still king outside the city and towns traffic jams clogged up roads and nightmare hold ups. BUT get within 5km of any town or city and things change, living changes to an apartment style living, cycle lanes appear metro style public transport comes in. It was interesting to see cyclists just meandering gently through city streets,unlike here where many have a head down hell for leather approach to cycling. In old towns where separate…

A Cracking Mornings Cycling

This morning I decided it was time to put more effort in to my mornings cycling over the last 10 months I have increased my cycling from 3km to about 18km, my fitness has improved I have lost a little weight and am enjoying my cycling. So in February i brought a new bike with much better parts which makes my cycling experience more enjoyable anyway I do digress back to this mornings ride.

 

I joined the Stratford canal at the chop locks proceeded to Kings Norton Junction …
