As I grind my way up The Long Mynd tomorrow I would like to know if it is pronounced as in mind or as in tinned? All suggestions welcome.

Wild Edric Sportive,Shropshire and Welsh borders 2012

Nearing the top of Long Mynd before plunging down a great fast descent to LeeBotwood. 4 hr 10 mins for 60 fairly hilly miles. The last day of winter, 20th May ! Winter jacket and biblongs. 8C.

"Designer of the Chopper died today. I always disliked the Chopper as it nearly neutered me with that gear lever and was incredibly slow and unstable. It did save Raleigh from extinction though, by pretending to be a motorbike."

About me
Commute by bike 80% of the time. Been riding on the road since I was 4 years old. Longing for the day when Birmingham is more like biking in Boulder,Colorado. Completed the Stoke stage of the Tour of Britain in September 2010, and planning to do the same this year. I do the majority of my own bike maintenance and upgrades.
