"excellent points Jethro, i these times people forget that you do not need a car. OK always will be the odd sick relative, work etc but vast majority, living on roads and no noisy polluting traffic, I call that bliss !"

"you mention the Bus Lanes Robert and that is exactly why I feel dead safe on the A34 say compared to Hagley Road which I do a lot. The lane is wide enough for a bus to pass and in fact being three lanes in part for cars makes it pretty darn safe.…"
