Cycling in and around Birmingham England

"Father And Daughter" by Michaël Dudok de Wit

A subtle story of loss and longing. A father says goodbye to his young daughter and leaves. As the seasons change and the daughter grows older, over the years she keeps returning on her bike to the place where she last saw her father. The film not only shows how cycling is part of daily life in Holland (note the classic Dutch bike!), but also depicts a very Dutch landscape with dykes and rivers.
